Human Resources Manager – DSG‑Canusa

DSG‑Canusa, part of the Mattr Group, is a leading manufacturer of high‑quality heat‑shrink tubing and related accessories. We operate in North America, Europe, and China, and we are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Fairfield, Ohio leadership team. The role reports to the Vice President, Human Resources and provides HR leadership on all aspects of people strategy for the site.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Management: develop and execute recruitment strategies, lead full‑cycle hiring, and shape talent development initiatives.

Tools and Reporting: maintain HRIS data integrity, prepare monthly headcount and pulse‑survey reports, and support organizational change management initiatives.

Policy and Compliance: improve and enforce HR policies, ensure legal compliance, manage the employee handbook across U.S. and Canada locations, and advise leaders on people‑related issues.

Performance Management: support the performance review process, monitor completion of annual reviews, and resolve employee relations matters.

Compensation: lead compensation analysis, advise on total compensation, and manage the compensation cycle.

Career Development: partner with leadership on succession planning, identify training opportunities, and drive employee engagement initiatives.

Compliance and Ethics: stay current on legal requirements, reduce risks, and maintain confidentiality in all employee matters.

Ad‑hoc Duties: facilitate employee relations investigations, handle visa and immigration matters, conduct exit interviews, and support workforce planning as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent.

6–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.

SPHR certification preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information with discretion, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency in HRIS (SuccessFactors) and payroll systems.

Demonstrated experience in talent development, performance management, and compensation strategy.

Self‑starter who seeks process improvements and drives results.
