Senior System Administrator – Delaware Nation Industries

Salary:
$101,920.00–$131,040.00

Responsibilities
Provide Tier II and Tier III technical services, including hardware and software procurements.
Deliver server and storage support to geographically distributed units, ensuring availability.
Patch and administer key services such as:
ESRI ArcGIS Advanced Server, ArcGIS Portal Extension, ArcSDE, ArcView Desktop
MS SQL Server 2012/2016, SQL Management Studio and T‑SQL
Microsoft Server 2012/2016 (and older versions)
Active Directory with group policy configuration and SGE security group creation
SGE Integrator (Python, JavaScript, D3, DOJO, Silverlight, MS Visual Studio)
VMware installation and troubleshooting on Dell PowerEdge MX, FX2 chassis, and PowerEdge FC blade servers
Networking technologies: Cisco Nexus, ACI
Storage technologies: NAS, SAN, FC, FCoE, NFS, iSCSI
Maintain and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge MX/FX2 chassis and PowerEdge FC blade servers.
Travel up to 30% of the time, including OCONUS travel.
Requirements
Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
CompTIA Security+ or other 8570 IAT II certification.
Valid passport.
Preference: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
Proficiency in installing and maintaining Windows Server OS.
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) desired.
Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate preferred.
VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP‑DCV) preferred.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Server products preferred.
Experience with geospatial data formats: KML/KMZ, Shapefiles, Geo‑databases (File, Personal, SDE), GeoPDF preferred.
Experience collaborating with software developers on small teams.
Previous military or DoD experience is ideal.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑directed, innovative in problem solving.
Ability to deliver on performance metrics.
