Senior System Administrator (Overseas Travel)
Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is a prime contractor providing manpower and support of IT Operations and Maintenance for the SOCOM SOCRATES Network. We are currently looking for a Senior System Administrator to support enterprise wide solutions.
Responsibilities
Supporting the program office with technical and service-based implementations including hardware and software procurements
Provide Tier III and Tier IV level support and troubleshooting for the Operations team
Provide systems support to down range units for the Program Office in support of the Enterprise
Ensure the patching and administration of the following services
Install and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell Chassis and blade servers
Acquainted with various storage technologies to include NAS, SAN, FC , NFS and iSCSI
Make recommendations to the SOCRATES Service Owner on the use of resources for down range sites
Required to travel up to 35% of the time, including OCONUS travel
Must be able to lift 50LBS
Patch Services:
Microsoft Server 2019/2022 patching
VMWare (ESXi and VCenters) patching
Dell Server Hardware firmware patching/updating
Active Directory and the use of Group Policies Objects, Sites and Services to provide configuration coordination and recommendations for the operational network
Requirements
Must have an active DoD TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
CompTIA Security+ CE or other 8570 IAT II certification
Must be a problem solver and able to think independently when deployed to meet deadline(s) for systems
Also, able to work with a small team to achieve required goals or deadlines
Demonstrate proficiency in installing and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems
Candidate must be detail oriented and possess good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
Will contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
Valid Passport is Required
An Industry standard Administrator’s certificate, (i.e., MCSA, VCA-DBT, RHCSA)
A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline
Some experience using ESRI ArcGIS Server products is preferred
Experience with Windows PowerShell and Python scripting
ZeroTrust Architecture familiarity in accordance with DOD requirements
Familiarity and/or Administration of ServiceNow and its workflows
Previous military or DoD experience is ideal to articulate customer requirements
