Job Summary: Pride Health is hiring a

Medical Assistant (MA)

to join a Urology department at a leading medical facility in

Flushing, NY . The ideal candidate will be bilingual in

Korean and English , experienced in outpatient or family practice settings, and comfortable supporting physicians with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Medical Assistant (Urology – Korean Speaking) Location: Flushing, NY 11355 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break) 40 hours per week Contract: 13 weeks Compensation: $22 – $25/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examination; record vital signs, height, and weight. Assist providers with urology-related procedures and patient examinations. Collect and process laboratory specimens and ensure accurate labeling. Document patient information and medical history accurately in the

EMR system (Epic/Athena) . Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care as directed by the provider. Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in compliance with infection control standards. Communicate effectively with Korean-speaking patients to ensure comfort and understanding. Support front-office functions including patient check-in, insurance verification, and phone triage as needed. Requirements: Language:

Korean fluency

required . Education:

High School Diploma or GED

required . Training:

Completion of an accredited

Medical Assistant program

required . Certification:

Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA)

preferred . Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (outpatient or family practice preferred). Technical Skills:

Experience with

EMR systems (Epic or Athena) . Certifications:

BLS certification required .
