We are looking for a
Laundry Manager
to join the re-opening of the famed
Delano Miami Beach . Set to open its doors in 2025, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 170 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel with an aim to open its doors again ahead of the 2025 winter high season.
Job Description Job Overview:
Under the general guidance of the Director of Housekeeping, the
Laundry Manager
is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Laundry Department. The Laundry Manager ensures that all hotel linens, guest garments, uniforms, and other textiles are cleaned, finished, and delivered according to brand standards and hygiene protocols. The Laundry Manager will lead and train a team dedicated to quality, efficiency, and safety, while maintaining equipment and managing inventory to support smooth departmental performance and outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring timely and high-quality cleaning of all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry
Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to maintain productivity, consistency, and service standards
Monitor and maintain proper use and functioning of laundry equipment; coordinate with engineering for repairs and preventive maintenance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies, chemicals, and linens; place orders as needed to prevent shortages or overstock
Implement and uphold procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and special garment handling
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet linen and uniform needs in a timely manner
Inspect laundry output for cleanliness, quality, and appearance; take corrective action when needed
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laundry processes
Monitor utility usage and chemical consumption to optimize efficiency and cost control
Handle guest laundry requests promptly, ensuring careful handling and timely delivery
Maintain proper records of linen usage, damages, staff performance, and equipment maintenance
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations to ensure team alignment and growth
Enforce safety procedures to minimize workplace accidents and chemical handling risks
Support sustainability initiatives through responsible resource usage and waste reduction

We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
