Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Corona, California. In this role, you will assist with various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and NetSuite, to complete daily operations.
- Reconcile discrepancies by investigating and resolving payment or billing issues.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closings as needed.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, or internal teams regarding financial matters. Requirements - Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Online, and NetSuite.
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial document management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
