Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations by managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and demonstrate exceptional accuracy in data entry and invoice processing. Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including generating invoices and tracking payments.
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks software.
- Perform accurate data entry for financial documents and transactions.
- Review and reconcile invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to address payment or billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
