Our Client is looking for an accounting specialist.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flow, including downloading deposits and disbursing funds.
- Prepare daily cash sheets and process agent/vendor payments via ACH and online platforms.
- Download and manage credit card statements.
- Prepare accruals and maintain the fixed asset schedule.
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations for multiple companies.
- Invoice for occasional conferences and meetings.
- File annual Statements of Information (CA) and state annual reports for all entities.
- Annually reconcile and prepare 1099-NEC and 1099-Miscellaneous forms.
- File property tax filings.
- Prepare annual agent renewal invoices and monitor payments.
- Adhere to internal accounting controls.
- Contribute to team goals and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related accounting work experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor\'s Degree in related field preferred.
- Solid understanding of General Accounting Principles.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook, and 10-key.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and research skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
