Our Client is looking for an accounting specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash flow, including downloading deposits and disbursing funds.
  • Prepare daily cash sheets and process agent/vendor payments via ACH and online platforms.
  • Download and manage credit card statements.
  • Prepare accruals and maintain the fixed asset schedule.
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations for multiple companies.
  • Invoice for occasional conferences and meetings.
  • File annual Statements of Information (CA) and state annual reports for all entities.
  • Annually reconcile and prepare 1099-NEC and 1099-Miscellaneous forms.
  • File property tax filings.
  • Prepare annual agent renewal invoices and monitor payments.
  • Adhere to internal accounting controls.
  • Contribute to team goals and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related accounting work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Solid understanding of General Accounting Principles.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook, and 10-key.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
