Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in Reno, NV.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
  • Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
  • Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinates deployment including training of team members.
  • Assists Production Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, and quality control training.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred) with 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs.

Compensation Package:

HORIBA Instruments offers a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(k) plan with match; employee group dental, vision, life, and disability (short and long-term) paid for by the company; medical insurance, family dental and vision insurance, and supplemental life insurance available with reasonable employee contributions; employee assistance program; paid holidays, vacation, and sick time; flexible spending accounts; and educational reimbursement and commuter benefit programs. Qualified candidates can expect to earn between $86,000 to $107,000, depending on experience. Well qualified candidates can expect to earn more.
