Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Knowledge of Gas and Liquid state Fluid Control and Metrology used in the manufacture of Semiconductors.
  • Knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturers and the usage of flow control and metrology products within Front and Backend Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment products.
  • Understanding of basic semiconductor process components primarily related to Temperature, Flow and Vacuum.
  • Process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
  • Improving manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
  • Preparing and presenting plans for the above and coordinating deployment including training of team members.
  • Assisting production manager in improving the system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training.
  • General knowledge of ISO and utilization of ISO related standards.
  • General knowledge of primary engineering design controls used when transferring products from engineering to production.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred) with 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs.
