Overview

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and serve as the face of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
  • Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or previous experience as a phlebotomist.
  • At least 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience with all age groups preferred.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, rotating Saturday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Work Location

LaPorte or Michigan City, IN.
