Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage financial operations and administrative tasks for a dynamic landscape construction and nursery business. This in-office position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, job costing, and financial reporting. The role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle a variety of responsibilities, including payroll, budgeting, and vendor management. Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. - Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to manage job costing, financial reporting, and budgeting tasks. - Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records. - Handle billing processes, including lien waivers, and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Collaborate with vendors and manage procurement activities to support business operations. - Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business growth. - Maintain compliance with accounting practices and regulatory requirements. - Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth office administration and workflow. - Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to guide financial decision-making. Requirements - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting or office management, preferably in construction or landscaping. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required. - Strong knowledge of job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting. - Familiarity with lien waivers and billing processes is preferred. - Spanish fluency is a plus, though not required.
