Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to join our client on a part-time basis in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and detail-oriented services environment. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
• Conduct account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
• Hands on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage financial data efficiently.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements - Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Expertise in journal entries, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
