Senior Manager of Accounting Job at Century Group in Culver City

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to join their team. This role will be onsite in their Culver City office but may be asked to be in the office on a hybrid schedule. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $165,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Participate in and direct our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and related activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and trend analyses
• Review contracts related to film and television studio projects and brand projects
• Support the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules and working with auditors
• Partner with production team to research and analyze transactions

Requirements:

• Sage Intacct experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and Word required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 1 year of management experience and 2 years of experience in relevant industry
