Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care including inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic responsibilities.
- Manage a diverse patient caseload, with an average number of clinic patients supported by an advanced practice provider.
- Participate in teaching opportunities through the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
- Conduct endoscopic procedures with facilities onsite for ease of access.
- Collaborate with a team of APPs providing support in both clinic and hospital settings.
- Maintain knowledge of organizational practices and regulatory policies.
- Fulfill job-related duties as required to achieve departmental goals.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology with a commitment to becoming Board Certified within one year.
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
- Clean malpractice history and license.
- Some experience in GI work (5-8 years preferred).
- ERCP certification; willingness to obtain necessary proctoring if required.
- ITIL and PMP certifications are highly preferred.
- Willingness to comply with health and vaccination policies.
- Current Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain).
- Active DEA registration prior to employment start date.
- Current BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
- CSR/CDS registration before starting.
- Full COVID and flu vaccinations unless an exemption is approved.
