Summary
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager supports the responsive and efficient operations of Administrative Information Systems (AIS). The ERP Manager works under the general direction of the Director of AIS and will work with the team to fulfill user requests in a timely manner with a high degree of quality. The ERP Manager will evaluate user requests and assign departmental resources appropriately. The position will also provide end-user support and work with the ERP trainer to help facilitate training. The ERP Manager will lead internal AIS meetings and functional area meetings.
Essential Role Responsibilities Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation, developing policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for AIS.
Proactively monitors system statuses to efficiently communicate availability and work toward improvement of system stability with vendor.
Logs, tracks, troubleshoots, diagnoses, reports, escalates, and resolves problems relating to enterprise systems.
Monitors incoming requests and provides support for AIS systems and functions.
Interacts with team members as needed to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Communicates outages related to AIS systems.
Evaluates requests, facilitates requirement gathering with users, assigns, and schedules resources.
Monitors and tracks work requests. Alert director of barriers to completion of work and collaborate for a solution.
Manages closure of all open service request tickets after incidents are resolved and follow-up on tickets with poor rating to improve quality of service.
Acts as the liaison to Information Security team for Colleague security.
Manages security for AIS systems in collaboration with security standards provided by Information Security department.
Responds to audit requests by providing requested information.
Responds to audit findings by developing risk mitigations and recommendations for security assessment findings. Update documentation and policies accordingly.
Reviews and assesses AIS project documents for adequacy and compliance with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsible for AIS quality control including requests for platform changes, quality assurance testing, security, and audits.
Completes quality assurance testing when appropriate.
Completes upgrade/system verification when appropriate.
Develops and maintains knowledge base for AIS problem resolution.
Participates in work sessions with team members to achieve further operational and system efficiencies.
Collaborates with department representatives in the development, writing, and editing of documents.
Responsibility for supporting AIS assessments such as security related activities and audits.
Audits security access for AIS supported systems and technologies
Manages vendors and AIS staff on security modifications
Responsible for developing, tracking, and monitoring AIS key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist management in business decisions.
Oversee ERP software licenses, including procurement, renewals, and compliance with support agreements to prevent interruptions to system operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree
Experience Required:

Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Communication, or related field.
Five years IT experience.
3-5 years experience in a Higher Education ERP
Proven track record of working in a technical writing position.
Ability to write in explanatory and procedural style for multiple audiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work with a significant level of detail.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong research and analysis skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Regular attendance is a requirement of this job.

Physical Demand
Fast-paced, deadline-driven, office working environment. Concurrent management of numerous tasks, some with conflicting priorities. Flexibility required.
