As Key Account Sales Executive, your primary focus is on generating new customers within the Belux region (Belgium and Luxembourgh). You sit at the table of large and well-known organisations, such as multinationals and public bodies, where large scale and complexity come together. You play a central role in the sales process, following up leads, analysing customer challenges and successfully closing deals.
Your responsibilities
As a true hunter, you are focused on closing deals with customers that are new to our SaaS security solutions. This includes: Following up leads:
Actively following up leads provided by marketing and SDRs, as well as making relevant connections with Key Accounts yourself; Identifying problems : Act as domain expert in access management, badge management and credential technologies to discover pain points together with customers and stakeholders. Facilitate workshops to identify challenges, map needs and perform fit-gap analyses; Storytelling and demos:
Comfortable selling a modular and early-stage SaaS product: not feature-driven, but focused on vision, a good understanding of where our solution fits customer needs – including features that may not yet be in scope ; Taking charge:
Lead and coordinate the entire sales process from discovery to closing the deal: identify the DMU, budget, timelines and follow the SPICED methodology. Involves colleagues across different layers of the customer organization when needed; Closing:
Conduct commercial negotiations and complete tenders. Work closely with Customer Success when preparing offers — to assess implementation effort and align on success criteria; Clear communication:
Update the team and executives on deal progress and ask for support where needed. Capturing all appointments and deal information in HubSpot (CRM) and managing the pipeline accurately. Your team
You will become part of our Market-Solutions Team within our business unit Security with colleagues operating both from our headquarters (in the Netherlands) and remotely from different parts of Europe. This team includes commercial professionals along the entire customer journey. Think Marketing, SDR, Sales, Implementation Consultants and Customer Success. The Market-Solutions Team is led by our Market-Solutions Director and is responsible for growing our business at Key Accounts with a strong focus on SaaS sales. You will be coached by our Sales Director, with whom you will have weekly contact about ongoing projects. In this role, you will also work closely together with other sales, channel development and support colleagues in the Belux region, from our office in Vilvoorde. Communication with team members can take place both in the office and online. We meet as Market-Solutions Team at least several times a year to exchange experiences, celebrate successes and discuss plans and progress. Our offer

With your excellent communication skills and strong personal presence, you know how to build trust with both prospects and customers. You have an affinity for consultative selling and enjoy working together with colleagues to achieve the best possible results for your clients. You think in terms of opportunities, are persuasive, and don’t give up easily. At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in selling (software) services (subscriptions) and complex solutions; A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a commercial or related field; Fluent in Dutch, French and English, with a strong understanding of the Belgian and Luxembourgish markets; Strong perseverance and creativity to successfully manage and close long sales cycles.
