* Maintains a working knowledge of system applications.* Consistently uses proper system applications for order modification, to document comments and exposures/repeats.* Consistently uses the Online Worklist to monitor orders and order status.* Demonstrates working knowledge of order entry and ability to order correct exams with proper indications. Starts, completes, and bills appropriately for exam(s) performed.* Matches digital images to RIS orders, for viewing in PACS.* Operates contrast injector, cleans and tears down equipment daily, and for deep cleaning weekly.* Identifies and follows protocols and standards of care for unit including Infection Control, food and drinks in lab and cell phones in procedure room.* Collaborates with physicians and other clinical disciplines as appropriate.* Provides teaching specific to the patient's health care problem.* Builds and uses knowledge based on current standards and research literature.* Participates actively in time out according to the hospital policy.* Continually monitors the patient and/or significant other(s) ability to manage care needs after dismissal from Cardiac Cath Lab (helps transfer patient and report on groin site).* Able to competently perform technical skills independently (understands and can reboot system).* Understands importance of sterility and is able to establish and maintain sterile field on daily basis.* Is accountable to learn new skills and equipment within areas' specifications and time frame.* Demonstrates competence in area of experience.* Works within the scope of practice.* Right task (within the scope of practice, according to the job description, based on the desired outcome, task routine, non-complex, low risk and predictable outcome).* Right person (assess competency by: certification/licensure, job description, skills checklist, demonstrated skill).* Right communication (clear, concise, correct, complete).* Right feedback: the Reciprocal Process (ask teammates' input first, recognize effort, get teammates' solution to problem, check off points).* Associate degree from approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) School of Radiology Technology required.* Bachelor degree from approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) School of Radiology Technology preferred.* Satisfactory completion of annual mandatory educational requirements.* 1 year of experience in Radiology is preferred.* 1 year in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred.* Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients and family members as well as providers and coworkers.* Knowledge of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.* Ability to meet the needs of physician during surgical procedure(s).* Skill in preparing and completing patient records/documentation.* Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks, conduct problem solving and prioritize work assignments.* Position requires flexibility to accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours, and on-call responsibilities.
