About the Position
As a Project Manager – Curtainwall & Glazing, you will lead the successful execution of façade and glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will serve as the key liaison between clients, architects, general contractors, internal teams, and field crews to ensure that all aspects of the project—scheduling, budget, safety, quality, and delivery—are aligned and executed to the highest standards.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of curtainwall and glazing systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex construction projects under tight deadlines and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle, from contract award to
project closeout. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and
subcontractor scopes to ensure alignment with project objectives. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and
manpower forecasts. Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, fabrication
releases, and material deliveries. Act as primary point of contact with clients,
architects, GCs, and vendors throughout the project. Lead project meetings and maintain detailed
documentation of RFIs, change orders, and progress updates. Work closely with engineering, field operations, and
fabrication teams to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor installation progress on-site, address
technical or logistical challenges, and enforce safety protocols.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management,
Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 5–10 years of experience managing commercial glazing or
curtainwall projects. Strong background in building envelope systems,
particularly unitized and stick-built curtainwall systems. Proven experience with mid-size to large-scale
commercial or institutional projects.
In-depth understanding of curtainwall, glazing,
storefront, and window wall systems. Ability to read and interpret architectural and
structural drawings. Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract
administration skills.
