Superintendent
to lead field operations, ensure execution to the highest standards, and maintain their strong reputation in the building envelope industry. About the Position As
Superintendent – Curtainwall & Glazing Construction , you will be responsible for the
onsite leadership and supervision
of glazing and curtainwall installation activities. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, you’ll oversee all day-to-day operations on active construction sites—from mobilization through final punch lists. This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and budget compliance in the field. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage field crews during installation of
curtainwall and glazing systems on commercial construction projects. Ensure projects are executed in alignment with
architectural drawings, specifications, and company standards. Oversee daily field operations, including subcontractor
coordination, equipment logistics, and site safety. Conduct daily site walks to assess work progress,
address issues, and ensure compliance with project timelines. Monitor and enforce safety protocols in accordance with
OSHA standards and company policies. Maintain detailed documentation of jobsite activities,
including daily reports, inspections, and material deliveries. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure
smooth communication and timely issue resolution. Attend coordination meetings and communicate
effectively with general contractors, architects, and internal
stakeholders. Ensure quality control standards are maintained and
drive corrective actions when necessary. Support project closeout processes including punch list
completion and turnover documentation. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical
training or certification in construction management is a plus. Minimum 5 years of field supervision experience in
commercial glazing, curtainwall, or building envelope construction. Proven success managing field crews on mid-size to
large commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of curtainwall, storefront, window
wall, and glass system installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop
drawings, and construction documents. Solid understanding of construction site safety
regulations and best practices. Proficient with mobile technology, daily reporting
