A rapidly growing restaurant and hospitality group is seeking a
Vice President of Finance
with a defined track to
Chief Financial Officer . This executive will take immediate ownership of finance operations while building toward a broader strategic leadership role. The right candidate will combine
hands-on financial discipline
with the ability to
scale a business, partner with leadership, and evolve into CFO
as the company continues its aggressive growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead the
2026 Budget development
within the first 90 days. Own day-to-day finance operations:
cash management, AP oversight, and outsourced accounting . Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and monthly close accuracy. Build and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes (transition to rolling forecasts). Partner with the CEO on
growth strategy, fundraising, and investor/bank relations . Implement
business analytics and AI tools
to enhance reporting and decision-making. Act as a financial storyteller, translating data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and operators. Candidate Profile
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership;
restaurant/hospitality or multi-unit industry experience strongly preferred . Tech-savvy: ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus), Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Leadership style that balances
