E-Commerce Specialist - Downeast

Malouf Careers . Downeast is looking for a temporary E-Commerce Specialist (w/ Shopify Experience). This role will last approximately 3 months, October–December 2025. This individual will be responsible for administering our Shopify account and other digital integrations for Downeaststyle.com. We are looking for an individual that can thrive in a fast-paced environment, pick up new processes quickly, have complete ownership of their responsibilities, and is able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. This is a full-time position. General schedule is 8am–5pm Monday – Friday; minimal weekend and evening work would be required. This role may be remote or in the Malouf offices in Nibley, UT. Overview
Downeast is seeking a temporary E-Commerce Specialist with Shopify experience to manage and optimize our online store and related digital integrations. Responsibilities
Administer all tasks through Shopify for Downeaststyle.com, including, but not limited to:
Creation of new product description pages for monthly collection launches Updating of collection pages for new arrival clothing and jewelry items Updating of home page with weekly changes to hero banners Updating inventory quantities from store distributions Monitor distribution methods such as ship from store and pick up in store Update product pricing based on sale calendar
Oversee email creation within Attentive for daily emails Oversee other Shopify integrations
Loyalty: Loyalty Lion Returns: Redo
Oversee Downeast listings and orders through Faire
Add new products and update the Downeast page on Faire Generate marketing email messages Respond to customer messages through Faire platform Manage order approval and processing
Acquire and demonstrate advanced product knowledge Resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner Adhere to all company policies and procedures Work overtime as needed Work both independently and with a team Assist Customer Service with orders, returns, and issue credits when needed Comfortable and confident with being on a computer all day Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements
2+ years of Shopify ecommerce experience required Experience in email administration preferred Self-motivated with the ability to recognize the relative value of opportunities and prioritize accordingly Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity Ability to make quick, smart decisions with limited information Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook Benefits
