The School of Mathematics invites applications for several postdoctoral research positions in the Mathematical Sciences for Fall 2026, though pending administrative approval. Appointment is a three-year, annually renewable research and teaching position as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School, including research funding. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Develop an international-level research program. Collaborate across the university in research and grant efforts. Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Required Qualifications
A PhD or its equivalent in the Mathematical Sciences, granted within five years prior to the start of the appointment, is required. An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment. Preferred Qualifications
1) Potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; 2) Research interests complementary to existing strengths in the School of Mathematics; 3) Strong potential for external funding; 4) Ability in teaching, scholarship, and/or service that contributes to the Institute's Student Success Criteria. Candidates will be considered in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Required Documents to Attach
