Front Office IT Business Analyst (Support)
The Global Markets Business Support and Monitoring IT team is responsible for providing Level 1 functional and technical Support on applications used by Equity Derivatives, Securities Lending, Global Macro (Rates, FX, Commodities), Credit Front Office and Support Functions teams. We are seeking a Front Office IT Business Analyst to support various external and internal applications for trade execution, trade gateways, booking, pricing, P&L and risk management for Global Markets activities. The candidate will primarily be involved in Level 1 Functional Support and will engage in Business Analysis to help implement new features in the supported applications. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Credit Markets executions (ION), trades and booking gateways for credit bonds, CLO, ABS Equity Structured Products trades and workflows including documentation Pricing, P&L, and risk management (P&L, greeks and VaR for all asset classes) Equity and credit instrument data referential (listed derivatives, securities, indices, and ETF's) RIMES or similar applications The candidate’s responsibilities will include addressing user support requests, managing incidents, gathering business requirements from traders, and testing new features. Additionally, the candidate will assist in coordinating with IT Development teams and in status reporting. Main responsibilities include: Work closely with Trading desks to establish a trust relationship with traders Responding to user inquiries and support requests related to IT applications, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Logging, tracking, and managing incidents reported by users, ensuring they are resolved or escalated appropriately. Collaborating with traders and other stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for application features and enhancements. Conducting testing of new features, bug fixes, and system updates to ensure they meet business requirements and function correctly. Providing training to users on application functionalities and creating user guides or documentation to assist with application usage. Working closely with IT Development teams to communicate user requirements, prioritize issues, and facilitate the implementation of new features or enhancements. Monitoring the performance of IT applications to identify and address any issues that may affect user experience or operational efficiency. Providing regular updates on the status of incidents, requests, and ongoing projects to stakeholders and management. Engaging with Front Office teams to understand their workflows, gather feedback on application usage, and identify areas for improvement. Ensuring that all support activities are conducted in compliance with internal policies and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Finance Experience in IT business analysis and/or IT Support Analyst functions for Front Office in the Finance industry Knowledge of financial Products (Structured Products, Equity Options, Securities Lending, TRS, Repo, Interest Rate Derivatives and term structures, Credit bonds, CLO…) Knowledge and experience in one of the following: Equity trade execution and booking (Fidessa, Dash, Markitwire, Sophis or similar…) Credit Markets Trades and booking gateways Structured products trades and workflows including documentation Pricing, P&L and Risk management Equity and Credit Instrument Data Referential (Listed Derivatives, Securities, Indices, and ETFs), RIMES or similar applications. Knowledge of SQL and FIX Strong communication skills to effectively support the needs of the Front Office teams Ability to quickly prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Knowledge in Agile practices and methodologies is a plus Natixis is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a workplace free of discrimination.
