Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. As an engineer, you will design, build, and maintain electrical systems across our semiconductor manufacturing sites and greenfield fab projects.
Responsibilities
Lead development and construction efforts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects, ensuring timely, budget‑conscious, and high‑quality delivery.
Work with global and cross‑functional teams to define and implement strategies for electrical system development and construction.
Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, and best‑known methods (BKMs) with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
Conduct build reviews, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Support cost and schedule estimates, coordinate consultant resources, and validate capacity planning assumptions.
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across Micron’s global network, driving alignment and standardization.
Analyze system compositions for performance, efficiency, and cost improvements using industry benchmarking and problem‑solving tools.
Contribute to global initiatives including sustainability programs, reliability‑focused BKMs, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Minimum 4 to 10+ years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities‑related industry
Technical expertise in semiconductor electrical systems including high, medium, and low voltage systems
Ability to travel internationally 15‑25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases
Self‑motivated and familiar with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Efficient coordination skills and client‑focused demeanor
Excellent communication and team‑working skills
