Position Overview As Senior Tax Analyst, you will be part of a core tax group that oversees all aspects of direct and indirect income taxes globally. You will report to the Senior Tax Manager and support the tax functions across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities Tax Provision
Assist in preparation of quarterly/annual global income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 via OneSource Tax Provision and associated workpapers.
Assist in maintaining complex quarterly/annual FIN48 and APB23 calculations.
Assist in producing and reconciling tax journal entries and footnote disclosures for quarterly and annual financial statement reporting.
Assist in analyzing and reconciling global legal entity income tax accounts and tax attributes on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Assist in calculating and reviewing domestic and foreign return to provision adjustments based on recently filed tax returns.
Assist with implementation and execution of Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
Tax Compliance
Liaise with external service providers for the preparation and review of domestic federal, state, and local annual income/franchise returns and supporting workpapers.
Domestic research and development credit analysis.
Foreign income tax returns in several North American countries.
Calculate and file quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments and extensions payments.
Prepare federal and state tax forecasts and cash flow analysis.
Maintain tax depreciation books, including quarterly reconciliation to the financial depreciation books.
Research and document tax return-related issues as necessary.
Complete special tax projects as assigned.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to state and local tax notices; liaise with authorities as necessary.
Ensure timely execution and documentation of all tax payments.
Other
Interface and collaborate with various Finance teams.
Collaborate on tax accounting and compliance with global tax team.
Oversee adherence to the organization’s tax policies and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Accounting preferred).
2-4 years of tax experience in a Big 4 firm, national public accounting firm, or large multinational corporate tax department.
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Strong understanding of tax concepts.
Ability to be in office in Wilmington, DE 3 days per week.
Benefits & Compensation The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,000.00 and $115,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
