$76,190 - $110,593 per year Job Summary

As a Cath Tech at Michigan Medicine, you will deliver exceptional patient care in a nationally recognized cardiovascular center. Your role includes monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing during interventional cardiac, structural heart, and peripheral procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technologies and supporting world‑renowned physicians. Responsibilities

Participate in research protocols and peer‑to‑peer teaching. Utilize critical thinking to perform technically demanding emergency procedures, including emergent PCI, LVAD & RVAD placement, intra‑aortic balloon pump use, and thrombectomy after proper orientation. Apply advanced imaging modalities (OCT, IVUS, FFR, atherectomy) and perform structural heart procedures post‑orientation. Required Qualifications

ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. Proficiency in Patient and Family Centered Care concepts (Respect & Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation, Collaboration). One of the following credential pathways:

RCIS certification or eligibility to take the RCIS exam within 1 year. ARRT certification with at least 1–2 years of diagnostic imaging experience and advanced cardiac interventional certification within 2 years. Graduation from a health‑science program (cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or paramedic/EMT) with RCIS exam completed within 2 years.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with interventional and structural heart procedures, surgical instruments, and sterile technique. Existing ARRT with advanced CV/VI certification. Existing RCIS certification. Work Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. On call required with a 30‑minute response time. Location
