Job Overview

The Senior Admissions Officer supports all functions of J.D. and Graduate admissions at the Georgetown University Law Center. The incumbent assists with application processing, decision processing, data analysis, tracking and reporting, interviews, wait‑listing, scholarships, and admissions events and programs. They serve as a subject‑matter expert and resource for the Admissions Officers team. Duties

Meet with prospective applicants and other visitors at the Admissions Office, answer questions, provide information, and supply self‑guided tour materials. Process applications and respond to applicant inquiries via email and phone. Build reports and analyze data throughout the admissions cycle. Oversee the issuance of admissions decisions. Serve as a resource and subject‑matter expert for the Admissions Officers team. Undertake special projects, including significant officer portfolios, at the request of the Assistant Director of Operations, Dean of Admissions, Assistant Dean for Graduate Admissions, or other directors. Manage application materials for wait‑list candidates and run wait‑list statistics. Coordinate the Dean of Admissions group interview program with firms and campuses nationwide. Oversee the Early Outreach Initiative administration. Track scholarship requests, pull and send roster requests, identify scholarship interests, send scholarship decisions, and track responses. Oversee the application process for JD Transfer and Special Programs. Organize recruiting events, maintain event calendars, organize Zoom sessions, ship materials, reserve rooms, and coordinate related logistics. Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. 2–3 years of full‑time work experience required; 1+ year of progressive experience in an Admissions Office preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, and advanced administrative skills required. Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines simultaneously is essential. Preferred: experience with Banner Student Information System and relevant CRM software. Pay Range

$41,926.00 – $65,090.00 Work Mode Designation
