We’re seeking a talented and driven Executive Chef to lead the culinary team for an exciting new multi‑level restaurant, bar, and event space in Portland, Oregon. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and launch a high‑profile dining concept from the ground up, bringing creativity, leadership, and passion to every aspect of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
Lead all culinary operations, including menu development, execution, and presentation
Build, train, and inspire a talented kitchen team focused on consistency and excellence
Maintain high standards for food quality, safety, and sanitation
Oversee kitchen budgeting, food costs, and inventory management
Partner with front‑of‑house and event teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
Contribute to the creative direction and identity of the new concept
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in upscale or multi‑outlet restaurants
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Track record of success managing high‑volume service and events
Creative culinary vision with a commitment to quality and innovation
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, opening environment
