Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, Senior
Join DSS, Inc. as a senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring top?level software delivery to external clients. Responsibilities Develops and maintains automated test scripts in a prioritized and standardized manner as identified by the QA Manager, Director, and Product Line Director. Participates in defining and communicating best practices. Coordinates and organizes the automation and verification of assigned products to ensure delivery of high?quality software.
Security And Privacy Duties And Responsibilities
Abides by HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800?53 security and privacy requirements. Completes required FedRAMP, and where applicable, advanced training per role and access level. Ensures compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in day?to?day duties.
Skills Required
Team player who works closely with web automation development to build/support a Web Automation Framework. 4+ years of hands?on Selenium (WebDriver) coding experience using C#. Experience with automation tools and APIs such as NUnit, Grid, Appium, Git, Cucumber or SpecFlow, Docker, Bugzilla or Firebug. At least 23 years of experience analyzing, designing, and implementing integration solutions using TFS or related technologies. Knowledge of C#, AngularJS, REST, JSON, Node, and VS 2015. Knowledge of Continuous Integration (DevOps) tools (e.g., TFS, Git, Docker). Knowledge of Page Object Model design, BDD, and TDD. Verifiable experience with QA software testing tools. Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle. Strong prioritization, time?management, and attention to detail. Analytical and problem?solving skills.
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. Combination of education and experience can be substituted for a formal degree.
Experience
3+ years as a QA Automation Engineer. 1+ year as a QA software analyst. 1+ year experience as a DSS QA Analyst I. Desired: Previous experience utilizing automation tools such as Selenium or Quick Test Pro. Knowledge of programming languages.
Physical Demands
Standing: 1% per day Sitting: 80% per day Walking: 5% per day Stooping: 2% per day Lifting up to 15 lbs (laptop, testing and office equipment) during a normal work day; up to 50 lbs unassisted when traveling. Computer work: 80% per day Telephone work: 10% per day Reading: 10% per day Travel up to 25% of the year on common carrier and/or automobile.
