You will be a part of the Site Civil team with consideration for hybrid work arrangements. The Senior Site Civil Engineer will focus on Site Civil/Land Development projects supporting Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices nationally. You will provide engineering and design services, coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and other disciplines, lead engineering and production teams, train and mentor junior staff, and manage workload to deliver projects on schedule and on budget. Responsibilities

Prepare and oversee engineering analysis, design, and calculations for all aspects of site civil work including site access, grading, drainage, utility networks, and erosion control. Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other project design leaders across multiple time zones. Generate and oversee detailed reports to demonstrate compliance with local design guidelines. Lead project teams from initial planning until completion, seeking future business and performing own project duties. Engage, mentor, and motivate junior staff through counsel, goal setting, knowledge transfer, and guidance. Plan, schedule, and coordinate documents or activities for multiple simultaneous projects across multiple states. Provide quality oversight and reviews of design and calculations performed by staff. Serve as the lead on significant or complex projects. Assist in developing processes and provide input on achieving company and office operational excellence while growing a practice. Review project changes, pending or anticipated alterations to the contract, additional work requests, and all other factors that may significantly affect staffing requirements or budget. Travel as needed to support projects and business development efforts. Provide technical assistance in the resolution of design problems, including field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, detailed review of design computations, and general coordination of design aspects. Act as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area. Represent the organization in the community and appropriate professional societies. Skills and Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of eight (8) years experience with land development projects (retail, industrial, data centers, multifamily, residential subdivisions, etc.). Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of residence. Demonstrated technical experience with a wide range of civil projects and experience serving clients. Proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity. Experience in leading projects through entitlement processes, including rezoning and planned unit developments. Ability to quickly understand new municipal codes and regulations for projects in new jurisdictions. Thorough understanding of business and financial principles in a consulting business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead and develop an engineering and project management team. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design software. Proficiency with SWMM, ICPR, HEC, or similar modeling software. Proficient technical and computer skills, including conducting virtual meetings with staff and/or clients. Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Compensation may vary by location and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits. EEO Statement
