Key Responsibilities
Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scope projects.
Support large 345kV+ and 765kV rebuild and greenfield transmission projects.
Collect and assimilate data for engineering work and prepare calculations per industry standards.
Develop recommendations for equipment and materials, ensuring budget, schedule and quality compliance.
Provide technical guidance to engineering team members and maintain positive client relations.
Assist with business development activities as required.
Apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses under minimal supervision.
Expand knowledge and skill set within the discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing 69kV‑500kV overhead transmission lines with familiarity in PLS, PLS‑CADD, PLS‑POLE programs.
Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles, applicable design guides and standards.
Client interaction experience and strong relationship‑building skills.
Experience with utility‑scale transmission systems and structural design of transmission steel structures.
Basic structural steel and concrete experience using 3D analysis and design software.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements such as background checks, drug screening and motor vehicle records review.
Work Environment and Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
