Strategic Account Executive – Truework, Checkr

About the Role Truework, recently acquired by Checkr, provides vital employment and income data for mortgage loans, rentals, background checks and more. As a Strategic Account Executive on the Truework team, you will scale our impact across large national and regional lenders, primarily acquiring new clients for Truework Verification services. You’ll build and execute repeatable playbooks that grow long‑term customer relationships and align Truework’s solutions with lenders’ business objectives.
Responsibilities
Drive pipeline and revenue by applying modern sales techniques; manage top‑of‑funnel engagement and closing processes.
Plan and execute targeted campaigns for your territory, partnering with marketing and partners to scale coverage.
Guide pre‑sales and deployment activities, working with internal teams to deliver on account goals.
Leverage analytics, case studies and market intelligence to create territory plans and target account strategies.
Understand lender operations and use cases where verification services create business impact.
Communicate new product features and enhancements, staying up‑to‑date with our portfolio.
Navigate and influence buying‑team personas, champion building and executive bridging.
Maintain deep industry‑specific business acumen: strategic growth plans, tech footprints and competitive landscape.
Represent client needs to executive and product teams, driving product evolution.
Exhibit grit, experimentation, resilience and a team‑first mentality.
Qualifications
5+ years of full‑cycle sales experience, selling transformative tech solutions.
Experience closing new accounts and building pipeline with modern marketing tactics.
Success selling to EVPs, CXOs and end‑users in both individual and team sales environments.
Ability to navigate large orgs’ political landscapes to maintain and expand relationships.
Knowledge of sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Power Selling, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex topics for executives.
Strong time‑management, multi‑project focus in fast‑paced environments.
Smart, self‑motivated, organized and process‑oriented with a growth mindset.
