Join Santander Bank, N.A. as a Relationship Banker in Worcester Downtown, Worcester, MA. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, building long‑lasting relationships and providing tailored solutions for banking, lending and investment products while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and cross‑selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management and community engagement.
Meet the financial needs of customers for transactions, servicing and products.
Deliver a personalized, seamless, and attentive customer experience.
Address concerns and provide timely resolutions to foster customer loyalty.
Engage customers through digital platforms and educate them on self‑service options.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
Support nearby branch locations as business necessity dictates.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Business Management, Finance or related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive‑based environment.
12+ months experience in Retail Banking sales, financial services sales or consultative relationship sales.
Proven sales and cross‑selling track record.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Digital proficiency and basic math skills.
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Language Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Certifications No specific certifications required.
Pay Range Base pay: $38,250.00 – $59,000.00 USD per year.
