We are seeking a Principal Project Change Engineer/Sr. Principal Project Change Engineer to support the Sentinel program. The role supports Air Force sustainment, development, production, and deployment of ICBM ground and airborne launch control systems, launch facilities, and associated infrastructure. Responsibilities
Oversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline, ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards. Develop change request packages and represent them through the change board process. Ensure change request packages meet quality standards and are board‑ready. Coordinate comment follow‑up, resolution, and approvals. Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments. Coordinate resolution and closeout of board action items. Interface with Configuration Management when submitting change requests and finalize change requests after board approval. Ensure approved change requests are implemented before closure. Follow through to ensure change requests are closed timely. Basic Qualifications
Principal Systems Engineer – BS degree in STEM with 5 years of related systems engineering experience; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD. US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance and an investigation date within the last 6 years. 1 year of project management experience and demonstrated communication skills. 2 years of experience in a configuration & data management (CMDM) role with knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, DOORs, Cameo, CPLM. 3 years of experience writing SOPs or CMPs aligned with EIA Standard 649‑1, MIL‑HDBK‑61B, or best industry practices. 3 years of experience demonstrating System Engineering principles, process, knowledge, practice, and theories. 3 years of experience demonstrating Model‑Based Systems Engineering concepts, theories, and tools. 3 years of presentation experience to project/program managers and customers. 3 years of experience with MS Office Suite products. 3 years of technical writing experience. Senior Principal Systems Engineer – BS degree in STEM with 8 years of related systems engineering experience; 6 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD. Additional project management, coaching, and delegation experience as listed in the detailed qualifications. Preferred Qualifications
Current DoD Top Secret clearance. 5 years of relevant experience in a CMDM role. 5 years of experience writing SOPs or CMPs aligned with EIA Standard 649‑1, MIL‑HDBK‑61B, or best industry practices. 5 years of experience supporting, developing, and presenting RFVs to program management and customers. Configuration and Data Management Certification or higher dated within the last 3 years. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent dated within the last 3 years. Primary Level: $86,600.00 – $150,500.00 Secondary Level: $107,800.00 – $187,300.00 Standard work schedule: 9/80 (nine‑hour days Monday‑Thursday, every other Friday off). Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and Long‑Term Incentives for VP/Director levels. EEO Statement
