is seeking a

Communications Manager - Aviation

to join our Aviation group and assist one of our aviation clients. This position requires travel to one of our NE aviation clients and will be onsite four days a week with one day working remotely.

This role will establish a communications program and manage stakeholder and public touch points for aviation projects. The candidate will bring consistent and professional communication streams to all key stakeholders, including clients, airlines, airport operators, employees, consumers, media, and the general public to promote a positive perception of the program, the client, and STV.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the client to create a unique program brand.

Serve as the “Subject matter expert” on all issues related to program communications.

Work with program leadership to develop yearly strategic communication plans to meet program goals.

Serve as project manager for communications initiatives for the program.

Work directly with project stakeholders to establish and manage a consistent flow of internal and external communication streams with a focus on logistics, project status updates, and public relations/news through various avenues.

Promote the program brand by designing and updating super‑graphics, signage, wayfinding, digital content via kiosks, social media, and a program‑specific website.

Create, publish, install and manage comprehensive airport maps for public awareness during construction.

Update and maintain internal graphics library for reference.

Write original content for social media, website, collateral materials, etc.

Implement strategic concepts, messaging, and positioning content within written and presentation materials.

Work with corporate and local resources to identify and pursue media coverage.

Lead planning and coordination of events such as groundbreaking, team milestone celebrations, grand opening, etc.

Qualifications

Client‑focused with a strong work ethic.

Ability to coordinate all aspects of a communication plan.

Clear and persuasive writing skills for a variety of communication streams.

Consistent command of grammar, proofreading, punctuation, and business writing.

Understanding of press releases and media relations.

Experience enhancing program presence in both traditional and online media.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Full proficiency in presentation design and development.

Ability to transform content into campaigns, presentations, and high‑impact visuals.

Self‑motivated decision maker and problem solver.

Photography and videography skills are a plus.

A/E/C industry experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or related discipline.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation $114,544.55 - $152,726.06
