Core Responsibilities
Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects
Perform civil engineering design and associated calculations and interpret plans from other engineering‑related disciplines
Apply technical expertise and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects
Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities
Adhere to Horrocks safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment
Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product that is error‑free
Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
B.S. in Civil Engineering – EIT a must
0‑2 years of experience in civil design is preferred
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
Experience in Transportation Engineering is preferred
Have a strong sense of urgency, time management, and self‑initiative to meet client deadlines
Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
