Schedule Day Shift
Purpose Statement / Position Summary The Accounting Manager in the Treasury Department oversees accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial reports for external auditors and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. The role supports the Assistant Controller in coordinating the external audit process, donor reporting, and key projects.
The Accounting Manager ensures compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and GAAP reporting guidelines, leads philanthropic accounting and reporting efforts, and collaborates with the Assistant Controller and General Accounting Manager on monthly closing procedures.
The Accounting Manager also leads and develops the accounting staff, manages cash flow, revenue, and overall finances, and provides analysis to evaluate fiscal choices, monitor expenses, and advise financial leadership.
Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience
7+ years of accounting experience, including tax, audit, and GAAP application.
Understanding of 501(c)(3) non‑profit accounting standards for philanthropic gifts.
Education / Licensure / Certification Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance administration. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
Pay Scale Information USD $84,302.00 - USD $114,518.00
