Responsibilities
Provides technical support to the discovery and development of new product ideas or strategic product extensions
Participates in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of product development scientists and engineers
Collects and classifies new product ideas
Captures specifications for product requirements and functionality
Focuses on completing work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely fashion
Understands how own assigned and/or routine tasks integrate with others in the team
Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and perform tasks/activities
Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
Impacts the quality of own work
Hiring Department Biology
Applicant Requirements Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
Shift 40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday.
Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications B.S. Or M.S. In biochemistry/biotechnology, biology, or related areas with research experience in plant genotyping, phenotyping, and media-making.
Anticipated Hiring Range Salary: $13.75-$16.50 hourly
