For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.### The Post-Closing Quality Control Underwriter completes reviews and performs quality control evaluation of underwriting for loans for the Quality Control department.### ### Begin your #MyMovement story as a **Post-Closing Quality Control Underwriter!**### ### **What You Need To Know*** ### Performs audits of closed loans, and ensures loans are underwritten according to Movement’s policies and procedures* ### Comprehensive Understanding of Investor Guidelines including FHA, USDA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC* ### Re-underwrites the income, assets, credit and appraisal for all Post-Closing quality control audit selections based* ### Evaluates re-verified documents including income, assets, credit, and appraisal* ### Rates each file on credit worthiness and quality of the loan file* ### Communicates findings to the appropriate Operations Underwriter### ### **What We Are Looking For*** ### Highly adaptable team player* ### 3+ years of quality control underwriting experience* ### 6+ years of front end underwriting mortgage experience* ### Exceptional attention to detail* ### Ability to work under timelines, balancing multiple projects at once* ### Strong oral and written communication skills* ### Proficient in Microsoft Office* ### Ability to work extended hours (late evenings or weekend work)### ### **Even Better*** ### Associates Degree in related field preferred* ### DE (Direct Endorsement) designation preferred* ### VA SAR (Staff Appraisal Reviewer) preferred* ### USDA underwriting experience preferred* ### Proficiency in PCLender preferred* ### Proficiency in ACES preferred### The expected salary range for this position is between:$78,300.00 - $108,700.00The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
