Area of Specialization (AOS): Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence. The department is looking for someone who will teach and pursue an active research program focused on artificial intelligence but welcomes applications from candidates approaching this topic from a variety of subfields in philosophy. Candidates working in more than one area of specialization are especially encouraged to apply. Area of Competence (AOC): Open. We seek a promising scholar who will pursue a vigorous research program, teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and take a full part in the normal activities of the department.Applicants should submit a complete dossier—including a cover letter, CV, a research statement, a teaching statement, and a writing sample—via the .
