Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, oversee complex tax engagements, and play an integral role in mentoring staff and shaping the firm’s tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns
Conduct complex tax research and provide strategic tax planning for clients
Oversee multiple engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction
Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior accountants
Review financial statements and identify tax‑saving opportunities
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on proactive communication
Assist with business development initiatives and firm growth strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus)
Active CPA license required
Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with a focus on taxation
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with tax preparation and accounting software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar)
