The position will be responsible for planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing and customer service. Activities will include reporting, analysis, data management, leading sourcing efforts and customer service.**What will you do:*** Collaborate with Commercial, Production, Quality, Finance and Legal teams to support strategic plans. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and transportation vendors. Manage service providers as needed, measuring performance and ensuring successful execution.* Procure raw materials and packaging as required to support production activities. This will include demand planning to determine business needs based on the commercial forecasts for the global organization, issuance of POs, and follow-up with suppliers to ensure deliveries are made on time. Pricing negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most economical pricing is realized. Monitor supplier performance: delivery, pricing, etc. Conduct quarterly cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods to ensure accurate inventories.* Arrange LTL and FTL freight for incoming deliveries and finished goods deliveries. This will include arranging international truck/air/ocean freight for our global organization and customers and preparing appropriate documentation to ensure efficient freight clearance. Optimize logistics network and identify improvements to ensure reliability, safety and performance at the lowest cost.* Identify and negotiate warehousing solutions for finished goods and raw materials as necessary to support North America business.* Manage a customer service representative to manage customer order to cash process.* Participate/support/lead facility EHS initiatives/programs to ensure the safety of employees, contractors and suppliers as well as the environment.
