THE ROLE: Welding Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Waukesha, WI
REPORTS TO: Manager, Quality, CI & Maintenance

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and execute multiple continuous improvement projects across welding
- Drive change with excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills.
- Implement capital equipment to reduce costs, automate processes, and increase throughput.
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to manage improvements and track results.
- Support production teams with technical leadership and training.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a welding emphasis, or engineering degree with a minimum of three years' experience in welding operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing weld processes, quality, tooling, tool design and preventive maintenance.
- Experience or training with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of CAD and ERP, including BOMS, routings, and costing preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
