Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Bomber Aircraft Operations Team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role partners with cross‑functional support teams, program leadership, and subject‑matter experts on process improvements, strategic business transformation initiatives, and lean‑based projects to increase efficiency and improve first‑pass quality and safety. Position Responsibilities Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures and guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives in accordance with MS&B and BDS business goals and objectives. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Maintain technical, cost, and schedule aspects of the IPT, including design, development, integration, and support of the IPT’s Mission Systems products and charter. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, and manage, develop, and motivate employees. Identify training requirements and provide opportunities to support the team’s development. Partner with local and enterprise‑wide design centers to develop staffing strategies for successful program execution. Responsible for the performance management and evaluation of direct reports, including one‑on‑one coaching, employee development, and ensuring technical proficiency. Meet commitments and drive quality, efficiency, and affordability. Mentor and coach all levels of engineers, providing knowledge transfer to grow our next generation of leaders and engineers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite; the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace. 5+ years of experience working in an operations or manufacturing environment. Experience in developing and implementing process improvements. Preferred Qualifications Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Project Management experience. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Additional Information Requires travel up to 25% of the time. This role is primarily first shift; additional shift requirements may apply to support program objectives. Relocation assistance is not offered; candidates must relocate at their own expense.
