Director of Finance
to oversee all financial operations for our property — ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence across every department. As the financial leader of the hotel, you will guide a talented team of accounting and purchasing professionals, manage financial reporting, oversee internal controls, and partner with executive leadership to drive profitability and performance. This is a high‑impact, visible role where your expertise directly contributes to the success of one of the largest and most recognized resort properties in the region. What You’ll Do
Oversee daily accounting operations, month‑end closing, and financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, forecasts, and executive summaries. Lead accounts payable and receivable processes, including casino hotel reconciliations. Manage all cash and credit card activities, ensuring accuracy in deposits and chargebacks. Implement and monitor purchasing procedures and inventory controls across all departments. Ensure timely and accurate filing of state and local tax returns (sales, lodging, beverage, etc.). Collaborate with external auditors and corporate leadership to ensure compliance and accuracy. Support payroll, budget planning, and capital expenditure processes. Maintain internal controls, perform periodic internal audits, and ensure policy compliance. Serve as the property’s financial liaison with the Casino operations team. Lead, develop, and mentor team members in both Accounting and Purchasing. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred). Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance or accounting management experience, ideally within hospitality or public accounting. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general ledger systems. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively across departments, and maintain confidentiality. Must be eligible for a vendor gaming license and authorized for bank account access. Why Join Us
