Vice President, Global Investment Banking, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure
Join RBC as a Vice President in the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure group.
Responsibilities
Execute a broad range of M&A advisory and financing transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
Develop financial models forecasting operating and financial results such as earnings, cash flow, and credit metrics.
Create marketing materials to support transaction execution such as confidential information memorandums and teasers.
Conduct in-depth research to develop expertise in the industries covered, staying aware of trends, market participants, and opportunities.
Partner with clients and third‑party consultants to perform due diligence on transactions.
Work across all industries within the sector, including Energy Transition, Utilities, and Infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience building financial models and analyzing financial statements.
Prior experience in investment banking, with involvement in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Ability to conduct independent research on industry and company trends.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in Power, Utilities & Infrastructure.
