The Manufacturing Supervisor will report to the Factory Manager and manage touch labor across multiple processing gates, ensuring the day-to-day execution of production plans and cleanroom operations. The role requires extended hours in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
What You Will Do Provide coaching and performance development for the team.
Enforce factory rules and safety standards.
Maintain timekeeping and plan work to deliver products on time and within budget.
Develop training plans to support product‑mix changes.
Facilitate cross‑training across the team.
Minimize downtime by communicating production interruptions with support functions.
Report status to factory management.
Coordinate with facilities and equipment support teams for timely maintenance.
Interface with other factory supervisors across shifts.
Oversee sequencing, planning, scheduling, and reporting tasks for manufacturing workflow.
Define priorities, goals, and manage quality, schedule, and HPU performance.
Prioritize project issues and assist in resolution to meet productivity, quality, and contractual delivery requirements.
Handle employee‑related day‑to‑day issues and concerns.
Qualifications You Must Have University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Qualifications We Prefer Experience with IR Systems and Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes.
Understanding of FOD and FOD‑prevention methods.
Front‑line leadership, shop floor management, or prior supervisor experience.
Advanced skills in PRISIM, CMES, cPDM, and MS Office (Excel reporting).
Knowledge of manufacturing and quality practices and instructions.
Understanding of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and other manufacturing operations.
Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills with strong communication.
Ability to make decisions, lead tasks, meet challenging deadlines, and multi‑task in a rapid‑paced environment.
Ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with others.
What We Offer Compensation: 90,000 USD – 182,000 USD (good‑faith estimate).
