Job Description Join a collaborative and motivated automation team working across a range of manufacturing projects — from retrofits and upgrades to full greenfield systems. You’ll design and program controls systems that come to life on the plant floor, working with modern tools and supportive peers in a balanced, flexible environment.

What You’ll Do
Own projects from design through start-up and commissioning
Specify components and develop control system architecture
Supervise drafting, layout, and panel fabrication
Develop PLC and HMI programs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, etc.)
Configure and tune VFDs, motion, and PID loops
Test, simulate, and troubleshoot systems in the field
Travel for commissioning and start-up (25%)
What You’ll Need
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
Experience with PLC/HMI development and controls design
Hands‑on knowledge of industrial automation hardware and software
Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
Team-oriented mindset and attention to quality
Valid driver’s license for travel
Tools & Platforms
PLC/HMI: Studio 5000, FactoryTalk ME/SE, TIA Portal, WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition
Hardware: ControlLogix, PowerFlex VFDs, Kinetix Motion, Siemens G120/S120
Experience
High-speed motion or coordinated drive systems
PLC-based safety design and programming
Advanced VFD and PID control strategies
P&ID development and UL 508A familiarity
Mentoring or leadership experience within an engineering team
