Controls Engineer
We are seeking a creative, highly motivated, agile thinker with a passion for automation. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or computer engineering, strong programming skills, and can thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment. You will support manufacturing processes on the production floor and address production issues alongside quality, manufacturing, and maintenance teams. You will also maintain and improve existing production processes using continuous improvement and problem‑solving techniques.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Configure, program, test and troubleshoot PLC‑based control systems and associated components.
Electrical troubleshooting and testing of control systems, control panels, and associated equipment.
Diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing processes and equipment.
Develop innovative solutions.
Support and actively interact with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality groups.
Continuously improve quality, cost, responsiveness, and safety.
Integrate new technologies into existing architectures.
Develop timelines, project scope of work, and manage coordination of resources and OEMs to complete projects by deadline.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
3+ years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics engineering, or equivalent automation controls engineering experience.
Proficiency in industrial networking protocols – Profibus, ProfiNet, TCP/IP, and EtherNet/IP.
Experience with HMI – Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell FactoryTalk View.
Experience with PLC – Rockwell ControlLogix and/or Siemens 300 families.
Experience with servo drive systems – Siemens G120 and S120 families, and Rockwell Powerflex and Kinetix.
Availability for overtime and off‑shift production support.

Vision camera experience.
Fanuc or Siemens CNC experience.
Fanuc robot programming experience.
